Got back out for a few hours today. Scored seven war nickels, mercury dime a Rosie, a buff, and a few wheat's. Found a few 1946 and a 52 nickel need to clean them up to get a date. Man I like to have never got the mercury dime out. It was lodged in between two big roots around seven inches. Mosquitoes were tearing me up gnats in my eyes. Man what us detectorist will do for silver:yo:. Found the frame to a watch and a dick Tracy badge and cheap costume Jewelry. :minelab:

Way to hammer out the silver! That is a bunch of War Nickels. Those roots will make you work for the finds, but when it is silver it is well worth the effort. Congrats!

Great hunt! :clapping: 7 war nickles in one hunt must be a world record! I,ve found 3 so far this year. HH
