Finds are from Friday and Sunday from a few different parks.
Nickels are 1900, 1935, 40s and 50s.
If anyone can tell me what the larger star shaped piece is I would appreciate it. It was found
in a very old park over a foot deep. My guess is it is some plate from furniture or a horse buggy.

Man you are on some kind of roll this year! That badge looks to be a cross between a police badge and a religious badge of some kind?
Any text at all on the backside of that badge? If not thats even more mysterious...could of been another emblem glued to it that fell off maybe?

No, there is no text on it on either side. I assume those are nail/screw holes on each end so it mounted on something.
Strange finds like that one are what make the hobby so enjoyable.
