Be careful using discrimination with Manticore on the beach!

Great video Mark! That’s why I hunt in All-Metal mode with the Equinox 800/900.

The goods of getting top know your beaches and what to do when confronted with harsh conditions. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like red with black sand viens o_O, tuff hunting that stuff I'm sure with anything except a PI?..... I only have one spot with the (Ironish?) redish sand, very little black. The other beaches can vary from fine white sand, to mixs of regular brown/tan sand n black. I seen a guy post on another forum In RI, purple sand. (Wonder how that came about) Also, I have noted the different granulars sizes, size of the grains of sand. Each beach being different, the redish sand here is very course.

Yes lots of red sand where i'm detecting usually lots of coins are found there but this time coins were mostly just below it I saw the nickel laying
on the sand so I just went over it with my discrimination on and no signal so off it went I had forgotten to turn it off.
