Broke my old record by almost a dollar.$14.70 including 45 qtrs. One shy of my qtr record for a day. Found a few tokens and a old button too. The gold wire got my heart thumping.I thought it was a gold ring at first.Too bad!! Great way to break in my new carhardt jacket.HH

Steve please refresh my memory. What detector are you using? I think we have very similar hunting styles and site preferences. Our hunts get coins in very similar ratios although 26 nickels is quite a bit over my norm.

My best coin day FWIW 9/29/07 (my Dad's birthday) Cu Cent 16, Zn Cent 9 Nickel 15, Dime 42, Qtr 44. 126 coins. $16.20. 2 arcade tokens. Little league field by the concession stand. My second trip there was a nice coin day too.

I always thought an amazing day would be a roll of each common US coin. 40 nickels would be the toughie.
