That would be my new Etrac of course. It arrived yesterday afternoon!! Because its Thanksgiving, I'll just read up on it some today. I'm really looking forward to trying this thing out. I hope that once I learn it well......I will be able to post some really good finds. Old Bart at Big Boys Hobbies got it here really quick.......I also had Bart send me a 6" coil for it as well. It's still in transit. I have some really trashy places that I want to go over really good with this Etrac. Figured the X5 would work well.

Love that new detector smell ! If you already swing a Sovereign then you'll have no problem with the E and believe me, you'll be making nice finds while you're learning .

E-Trac + 2TF Program + 6" Coil = Great finds in heavy iron!

Good luck with your new machine !

Congrats on the new machine. I came over from an Explorer and did not think the learning curve was too bad. I spent a lot of time on YouTube watching videos. It really seemed to help, not to mention it was entertaining.

Thanks guys. I have been working ALOT of hours lately. But every night I have been watching tons of videos on the Etrac. A whole lot of good ones out there. It will give me a big leg up when i'm finally able to take it out.

I suggest to have coin garden! I have 7 coins in my clean yard. Various from 5 down to 8 inch deep. Good for test and know machine is good then ready to hunt! Write note where is coin, depth and location in your yard because you cant remember on details 1 or 2 years later!
