Big fake? diamond ring today.

My heart started thumping today when I saw the top of this
big diamond ring in 2" of dirt. But it isn't real. #12-42 ID. It looks
like silver but the inside of the ring is worn, however the outside is in
excellent shape. .51 ounce weight. Found it with my 6"x8" SEF Coil.

I first thought it was real when I saw the big diamond top of the ring and almost had a heart attack thinking I'm rich, I'm rich. But to no avail.
Maybe I'll find the real diamond ring some day. That's the biggest of 8 rings I have found since last year.
I told my wife she could wear it for fun, but she said it is too heavy.
