Finds are from a few weekend hunts since my last post.
All finds shown came from public city parks, old schools and one fairground. Most came from North Dakota with some coming from Minnesota.
My Deus 2 machine was used to pull most with my Manticore helping a little.
The 1937 half dollar was pulled last Saturday at a park only 7 miles from my house.
It was hiding in a very junky area, but I was able to get a repeatable quarter reading that spiked to half dollar numbers, so I was hopeful before I dug.
A unique find is that WWII era charm bracelet. I chased a deep lower tone signal and was rewarded with that bracelet. It even has a bomb on it.
That tiny car (see pic with indian head penny for comparison) was over 6 inches deep and read like a nickel. It was pulled not too far from the 1898 V nickel.
Another interesting find is that ‘Mars’ padlock. From my research Corbin lock company introduced their ‘Astronomy’ series of cabinet padlocks back around 1910.
I am thinking that small silver spoon is a sugar spoon. From the hall marks on the back, it is 83% silver and was made between 1870-1927.
The good for 5 cents token came from a ND town with a population of only about 40 people so it should be a decent one.
Thanks for taking a look!
Dave
