Called Kellyco today. My 11" DD will be here Tues.

Mine arrived today from Kellyco. I may go out tonight and give it a few swings.

I looked it over and it looks to be well constructed even though they took many steps to reduce the weight. The coil cover is pretty light weight. It seems to be made of a softer plastic than the stock coil. It is also a lot earier to remove. You can just pop it off without using a tool. No excuse for not cleaning out your cover with this coil.

I ran the 11in pro last night and this morning. It's a good one!!!!:super:

The sounds are much crisper, and the target separation is great as well as the pinpoint. The direct center attachment of the rod takes some getting used to compare to the 1050.

You can really hear the difference when you switch between deep on or off, much more pronounced than other coils I used on the explorers.

I hunted two "well hunted 1940's vintagespots" and dug 10 wheaties and a merk! Most the targets were in tight with trash close by.(Hunting in IM-20 SE really works well on mixed-together targets!!!!) Nothing was really deep, so I don't know about depth, but probably won't be a problem

I'm going to try an older park tomorrow that's been well "explorer'd" and see if the coil can sniff out some!!!!

The SE Pro coil?

I thought that was something a bit altered from DD. (A bit more overlap and slight curve on/in the flat/center.)

Mine's coming Tuesday from Detector Depot. Sounds like all those coils got delayed some in the U.S. I was told they got free shipping from Minelab because of the delay but it was slow (UPS ground?) shipping.

(And I'm leaving Wed. for WI. (Hey, Chris, if you're reading this, if you're interested (and haven't tried one yet), we can swap off coils a bit so you can try it out.))

I was lucky enough to have one come on mine when I bought it used online auction...I saw one last week in the classifieds...didnt last too long and fetched a good sum.

5'2", intelligent, curvaceous, beautiful smile, loves me. Suspect you can't (or don't want) to compete with that. (Childhood sweetheart I reconnected with. Been a bit rocky but going in a very good direction now.) It's a heck of a motivation to go somewhere. :)

I'd still like to do the field hunt Bob's trying to get going if I can. If not, I'll make it up there sometime anyhow. (I have my kids with me every other weekend but beyond that, the weekends are open fairly often.) But I'm not even going to the beach like I wanted to since gas prices went up so far. Jeep gulps that stuff. Been spending some money on it trying to get it running better so it doesn't guzzle it quite so much but....

I gave one to James ND to try and one to Tim to try last Monday and we will see what they have to say about them, but sounds like they both want to buy these new coils I let them try.
I am impressed with it on my SE Pro.James will probably post his weekend finds on Monday evening and probably Tims as they went hunting together so lets see how they do.

When you went to the store and bought a product and it was a tremendous surprise to everyone if it didn't do what you expected.
The coil performs like it should.
