Can you say DEJA VU?

Found ANOTHER 1867 today but this one is in even better condition. Look at the letters in Liberty before I even give her a bath. Beauty of a coin. Couldn't believe it was the same date. Worth some moola.

Are they worth a lot because of the lower mintage (9,821,000)?

I found an 1873 (11,676,500) yesterday but it's not in as good shape. (More like the first one.)

Nice finds, Jim!

I was wondering how the better date IH really sell. Do you knock them down one grade because they are dug? What do you think Jimmy?
Nice IH!

I did sell all my good coins the last few winters to make ends meet. Yes they do and can bring great money based on condition. I bet I could get at least $100 on the bay for this one. If they have sharp details they will sell. I do tell the people that I found the coins metal detecting too. Does not seem to matter. Condition rules and even if they are green and have been in the ground people still want em.
I'm pretty much starting all over with my collection of coins. Its kinda fun starting over but I do miss alot of some of the key date coins I had to sell. Oh well. Jim

I figure my collection will help keep bread on the table when I am retired. When I can't get out swinging I will be offing IHs on ebay. At least we have them to fall back on. Thanks for the info Jim.
