Dug this in the first five minutes of my park hunt today. Best looking one I've dug! Also GOUGED a nice 1868 Indian but I'm not going to cry. I'm happy with that big green deuce!

That's one heck of a nice coin!

As others said, wish they came out of the ground in that condition here.

(If only we could combine your ground conditions there with the colonials here on the east coast... :) )

Very nice find. A few months ago i also found a 1871 2center that looks exactly like yours in color. What do you suppose brings out that green toning?
No other copper coins that i've found have had the same green tone. Anyway great find :thumbup:
