Went for a hunt at an old 1800's site yesterday. It is a vacant paddock now as the original wattle and daub house is long gone. I found this 1850 Half Crown in great condition.

I think thats where you went to daub your wattle....or to wattle your daub. Depending on your mood. Nice looking coin. Do you keep them for a collection, do you sell them for silver or do you sell them as a coin. Idigid

I am just writing a blogg that describes it a bit but basically a dwelling built from sticks and bark etc held together with clay are animal dung mix to.
