Clad cash in, thinking of a small coil and rain cover

Well i cashed in a little over $200 in clad from the season. Im leaning twards the 6" Excellerator coil and Enviro cover from K Co. Does anyone know if the Enviro cover they sell for the ET is the Minlab brand?

I think that the elliptical coil is much better. I do not have one, I have the 6" excellerator but am not really that impressed with it. It's not bad just not impressive to me. I also have an 8" FBS and use it instead.

Frankly... with the 11" Pro or ET coil... I never see much of a need for a small coil anymore.

Do you have a uni-probe? I love mine... I can hear it through the headphones.. no problem. I have a SunRay S-1 probe on my GT but I prefer the uni-probe over the SR...

jbow, the reason for the small coil is that i hunt alot of older parks here. In these parks woods i have found that there used to be picnic areas here. The only problem with the big coils is getting around all the underbrush.

I had a sunray on my F75, it was great in the open but in the woods it got snaged alot. Pinpointing with it became a two handed operation sometimes. This time around i went with the Garret Pro Pointer. Simple and easy
