Coins found on short hunt

407floyd

Well-known member
Found all the pennies clumped together under an old pecan tree about 8" deep.

So sweet! Those cents all together, I like to think of what times were like when they were dropped, lost or left there. Pecan tree…cool.

Very nice finds there 407floyd! Take a very close look at the 1922, behind the 1939-S. I can't tell for sure because of the corrosion, but if it's a 1922 with NO "D" mintmark, it's a RARE date! Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
