CTX 3030 external speaker

your headphones have to be wired correctly to turn off the speaker. Not all GG phones are wired like that.

Lots of ways to fix that ........ Here is one post https://www.findmall.com/read.php?86,1729960,1729960#msg-1729960

I can't find my original post but the easiest (for me) is to open up the headphone adapter with a T-10 screwdriver and twist or solder a jumper wire between the two outside posts of the headphone jack. That puts the headphones in mono mode without any external hardware to break off or get caught in the brush.
