Did you adjust the Backlight intensity level? There are certain angles where sun glare interferes sometimes. If you’re just looking at the numbers, you can set it to make the numbers HUGE.

You can enlarge the #s but then you can't see the rest of the screen if you use target trace. The hood covers don't work. Have tried everything but the film covers. Have actually considered selling a great machine for what should be a minor problem. Very frustrating.

Yes, but those just "cling" covers and they will fall off very quickly if they are left on. They dont have any true holding power like real "stick on" screen covers.
