I want to say thank you for all the information you share about detectors, and detecting.

You spend a great deal of time explaining what you know, and have learned, with the rest of us.

I for "ONE" really appreciate your time, and effort.

Your posts are always explainitory, and never provocative. Your patience is obvious.

Thank you Sir.

Respectfully,
Elton

Been reading Monte's material long, long before I started posting here.

"The man is awesome in how much he gives and never asks or expects anything in return".

There are not enough complimentary words in the language to describe all that Monte has contributed to thousands of detectorists.

GO MONTE !!!!!!

This is Monte's website

Hats off to Monte too. I am glad he posts here. I also consider Elton the "gentleman" of the boards lol. There are lots of others but these 2 really stand out. Elton is always a gentleman and I have much respect for him. I also admire these guys attitude towards life.

I have to add my two cents, I would agree whole heartedly that Monte has been an invaluable resource for myself and I'm sure more than one other on these forums. I am one of the lucky few who get the pleasure of meeting up with Monte once a month and absorbing any of the information he can pass along in his meetings. He is just as informative and pleasant to deal with in person as he is on the forums. Kudos Monte..and thank you for your time.:clapping:

I have read alot of posts that Monte has written since I joined the 20th century and bought a computer several years ago. I had no idea that there were detecting forums out there in cyberspace. I first took notice of Monte's posts on the White's forum and the Tesoro forum as those are the detectors I use. Right away I noticed his detector savvy, and I learned alot about the detectors I was using from his posts....there were some detectors I had that were also some of his favorites. I really like his long posts on a good subject matter, maybe some time he will write a book on detecting and some of his field experiences. I would be the first in line to buy one:thumbup: Thanks Monte!

Elton, thanks for this post, I'm not sure if this has been said before on a forum, but it is overdue to give thanks to someone who has given selfless knowledge on the forum for the benifit of others.
Merry Christmas and Many Happy Hunting Seasons to ALL:bouncy:
