Detech Excelerator 5" DD coil...

Detech Excelerator 5" DD coil, has anyone used this coil? I'm wondering how it compares to the Sun Ray x5?

I've never used a 5.5" Sunray coil, but everyone that has one seems to think their fantastic.
I have a 5" Detech - mainly have it as backup small coil for my 4.5" x 7" - I'd get a 6" EQ2 or the 4.5" x 7" - both are GREAT coils - more coverage and depth than the 5".

Here's a link to field tests on small coils - a lot of great info. here !

Good Luck !

I really like the Sun Ray stealth X5 coil . It is Fantastic as you can run this coil at 30 sensitivity if needed and it remains crisp in sound while not loosing in depth department. Check out the link above and you will see Bryce-IL put it through the test as well as tons of others that have proven results with the X5. Now, if your looking at larger ( sef 8X 6) :geek: that really is a mid- size coil and excellent as well !:detecting:
