Deus2 sniffs out a 5.1 gram gold nugget from the turf

Dug up my first gold nugget but it wasn’t found in the heart of gold country in California. It was dug up in a park like setting in central California a couple of hours away from the gold hills. This patch of grass is still used by the public since the 1870’s. A miner must have dropped it resting under a tree while passing through town or someone who traded with gold back then.
I’ve also heard of a gold nugget being found at holly park in San Francisco. What are the odds of a gold nugget being dug up from the turf. Gold nugget was 6 inches deep, used beach P program on the deus 2.

I made sure it wasn’t. I also made sure it wasn’t soldered on to a piece of jewelry then fell off.
Of all the years hunting this area this is the first piece of gold I’ve found wouldn’t have thought of finding a gold nugget.

At current ScrapIt prices at $35g looks like potential of +/- $180.00

What can I sell it for?
I don't know that much about nuggets, but do know some have more value to collectors then scrap value. Might want to do a little research on detector prospector forum. HH jim tn opps, didn't see your post on collectors. (y)
