E-Trac Power Shut Down Problem & Solution !

I'm posting this info. because of a power shut down problem I was having about six months ago - the procedure below completely solved the problem - hope this info. helps someone out there !

I'd be going along swinging and my machine would just turn itself off - it was doing this just about every time I went out on a hunt.

I called the Minelab service dept. in Las Vegas and a tech told me that once or twice a year we should all just turn our machines on over night and let the battery pack completely drain - then give it a full charge - and this should eliminate the problem - he was right - I've never had a power shut down problem since !

Hey you guys! I just hunt till the battery goes dead and the machine shutts down! Can't let it sit home at night running alone like that she'll miss me!
