Etrac / Exp 2 transition..difficult?

thinking about an upgrade to an etrac, was looking for some pos/neg input from those who have already made that move..any input appreciated!!

I'm a one month owner of the Etrac and owned an Explorer XS, plus other top end macines. Using this machine is the most fun I've had digging old coins in a long time. Now I can't wait to get out and hunt while before this I had just about given up on most of my sites.

Ran an explorer xs for three years found some nice finds but you had to go much slower to get the deep stuff. The etrac has a much faster recovery and the menu is laid out in such a way which is a lot more user friendly easy to make changes ect. The discrimination is better more information to separate iron as long as I dont get macho with the sensitivity.Pinpoint is better plus more features one being pitch hold if you select it to alert you to deep coins which is how I found a 1885 Morgan silver dollar measured 11 inches.The etrac excels above other machines in its ability to I.D.coins and make the separation between iron halos that are buried beyond 9 inch mark some may beg to differ but I have other high end machines to compare.Last but not least the etrac has the ability to find coins on edge which is the reason some finds are on the edge of the hole.These are some of the features that appeal to me in the real world more finds having owned mine one month not to mention exchange capabilities by computer which I haven't used.I would be glad to share my program with other users hope this helps.
