I havn't posted much on here for a while but thought that some of you would enjoy some pics of some of the goodies I found with my etrac this spring. I detect with a CTX and an Etrac on my Colonial sites but it just so happened that I found the Spanish silvers, and many of the other buttons/etc., with my etrac! Some of the other finds were with the CTX but I didn't separate the finds to make separate pictures. These were all found on a local farm where settlers camped in the area. Hunting the etrac wide open screen TTF with the Ultimate coil, it matches up pretty well with the CTX as far as locating deep finds and separation in iron. HH

Nice digs! I won't lie...after I bought the ctx and sold my E-trac I had insta regret. I like the ctx but I LOVED my E-trac.

That is so cool! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful finds...regardless of any machine! Thanks for the pictures and congratulations on your spanish silver!

Cool finds!!!...especially that silver. Nice piece of the pie.

Great finds!

One question though, I have never found a Spanish silver, why does it have a copperish hue to it?

I'm afraid the copperish hue is my lighting.....lol. Spanish silver is just as pretty coming out of the ground as other silver coinage, although sometimes it's a bit more black. My first 2 reale was so black when I dug it I thought it was just another flat button at first..........of course I didn't have my glasses on either....lol.
