Etrac program for deeper coins

Anybody ever run for discrimination on the trac. Just keep nickel dime pennies in quarters signals I seen a guy at YouTube do this in heavy traffic areas and he seems to have great success just wondering if any of you have tried it

I'm not sure that your looking for a deep program in this intance? But rather a trashy program? If it was me I would use my small coil/high discrimination and try to cherry pick as many good signals as I could. Then time permitting, my mentality and if I have better places to hunt I would then start digging just conductive targets in ttf.

I have never liked TTF. The breakover point is far too high for me.

I agree, you don't need a "program" for deep coins, that just involves digging higher FE numbered responses.

Ive always wanted to be able to discriminate by the depth reading. there is an area I hunt that If I could silence the targets that are within 4 inches of the surface Then I could save some time only looking for coins 5 inches and deeper.

wouldn't that be fun!

Have you tried 4TF or MTF?

My old Garrett detector had an option for eliminating surface targets, it nulled all shallow targets to a few inches deep. Used that option a lot in trashy parks.
Add that option to the list for the long awaited release of the eTRACII

There are a lot of times I only dig targets 6 inches or deeper. I can always come back and dig the shallow stuff later. I know the shallow stuff can mask the deeper targets but I'll eventually get those too.

I would like to see Minelab come out with surface elimination like the old Garrett GTI-2500 had...It ignored 1-2" depth signals.
Got rid of a lot of the surface trash.

HH,

Only digging deeper targets is risky - I've found multiple Seated, Barber and Large Cents in the 2" to 4" range.
