Eyeballed this in the parking lot at work this morning

Eyeballed this wedding band under a car when I pulled into work this morning. Sent out the emails for how the loser could claim it. Long story short, the guy came to my desk and described it perfectly and I returned it.

Funniest part is that the ring turns out to belong to my supervisor's husband. She was giving him the eye and having a discussion

Hahahahahah.

Ring was returned the happy couple re-united. :inlove:

I would have liked to have found this one in a park. :wiggle:

Makes me wonder if you were not a metal detectorist, if you would have been used to looking for shiney things on the ground and even noticed it!
You should post this in the "Good Deeds" forum too. After all, eye finds are part of our skills!
WTG Hillis!

That ring is a 'honker'. It was meant to be that you found it Mike. So it got returned to its rightful owner. Big kudos for your integrity.

Believe it or not, I have been pondering my greed and wondering if I would be able to return a piece of gold jewelry if I found it at work. Would the scrap value of the gold and my list of things that I purchase with gold cause me to fall? I'm very relived that I was able to stand against my greed and return the ring. It makes me feel stronger for the next time it might happen.

Very good of you to do that Mike---and you passed your own "wondering" test with flying colors!------Hey, I think your supervisor oughta let you leave work a couple of hrs. early to go detecting! ;)---------Del

Mike, your conscience is well built. The guys on my shoulders would have been in a small but short argument also.
