Hi all, thought I might post 2 hours worth of finds from last nite and this afternoon. 1912 Barber and pocketknife at an old local ballfield. Dime was 8" and still crisp signal with sef 10x12. Easy digging in black topsoil.
Hit an old farm house yard today for a short while, no high hopes as the owner mentioned that, "had been hunted before".
Loamy puffy dry soil, was digging mem cents at 5" average. Near the house under the lilac bush a got a squeek that buried the cursor to the upper right of my screen. 1917 merc, 5".
Down near the mailbox I buried the cursor again, dug the silver quarter. If there are oldies here, they are very deep. Lawn was relatively iron-free, but lots of chattering in the headphones at times....EMI maybe.
