Farm yardin' with the Exp 2

Hi all, thought I might post 2 hours worth of finds from last nite and this afternoon. 1912 Barber and pocketknife at an old local ballfield. Dime was 8" and still crisp signal with sef 10x12. Easy digging in black topsoil.
Hit an old farm house yard today for a short while, no high hopes as the owner mentioned that, "had been hunted before".
Loamy puffy dry soil, was digging mem cents at 5" average. Near the house under the lilac bush a got a squeek that buried the cursor to the upper right of my screen. 1917 merc, 5".
Down near the mailbox I buried the cursor again, dug the silver quarter. If there are oldies here, they are very deep. Lawn was relatively iron-free, but lots of chattering in the headphones at times....EMI maybe.

Nice hunts and finds. No matter how hard a spot has been hit, it's probably never seen an Explorer when it comes to sites like those Old Farm House Yards. I'd be going back and seeing what else you can dig up from there. Congrats on the finds and hope your next hunt is just as good. Good Luck and HH to you.:detecting:

Thanx for the kind remarks, everyone. I feel like I have the upperhand when hunting with a ML detector.

Sometimes you just gotta work at it. I'm hunting an old farm boarding house with tons of iron and junk.Found a sweet barber quarter there last year. No silver since but I know it's there. The good thing is that it's on my way to work so I can stop for 30 min. every day. Nice finds amc rulz.Just keep working it.:detecting:
