Finally got out to a local park

Thanks, sd51. Interesting how I got this hit just minutes from getting out of the car and that was the end of nice finds for the day. But heck, I'll take that kind of day any day!

Yea, funny how that works. So often, when giving up for the day I find something nice.

My friend I used to detect with who is now deceased, and I were detecting a beach. Finally he wanted to go. He was at the edge of the sand and grass. I was at the edge of the water.
So I detected in a straight line between me and him. About a foot from his feet I pulled out a nice gold ring. Life is funny that way, huh?
 
Nice find I had the same luck with my first barber half last month first signal I dug out of the car a bucket lister to!

No it was a collage yard it's never been hunted then I also found 2 SLQ's one a 1917 looked brand new absolutely mint!

Beautiful SLQ's. I haven't found one in years. It is hard to find one with a nice date on it. That 1917 is nice!
