Finally got to hunt the water, one complaint...

As you correctly pointed out, the CTX 3030 is not designed for diving at depths greater than 10-feet. If you are going to be diving at depths greater than 10-feet, this isn't the detector for you. But for those who detect on land or along the beach, hunt out in the surf or detect in water up to their necks, having a neutral buoyant, waterproof detector, capable of being submerged up to 10-feet, will not likely be considered a "limitation", as you suggested. With the addition of CTX 3030 waterproof headphones, the CTX 3030 is capable of being submerged completely under water, without the need to fabricate an antenna for communication to the coil. I'm also beta testing headphones for Joe, so far so good. had them under water at chest level for about 5 hours at the beach (fresh water). I agree with spdnj, the ocean is just too cold to be playing in
