~FINALLY I dug some SILVER, SLQ, Mercs, and Indian~

I was in a real silver slump, I went like 6 hunts without silver and was starting to think my etrac was broke! Nope, guess just didn't have my coil over it..lol

Yesterday I hunted fields again all day, and finally I got silver! A no date SLQ, and never have I been so happy to see silver, my dry spell has ended! Got a few wheats, 1900 indian and an eagle button.

Today I only worked half a day and started off at a farm, this place had basically no targets, except trash, so I headed down to an old ballfield I found on google earth. There I got the WORN 1920 merc, and also the 1942 merc. I stayed there 2 hours and nothing else was showing up.

On the way home I stopped at the field where I got my 1864L indian last week, put on my small coil and after about 20 minutes, I got a sweet 12-45 right between two pieces of iron, and out popped a 1917 merc. It has a nice gash from the plow, but I will take silver anyway, shape or form!

Nice haul. Good way to break out of a slump.

Congrats on the finds. I found a pile of IH's earlier this week and jacked them up bad trying to clean with baking soda....never do that again. Your Indian looks awesome.

I only use dish soap and water on my indians

I definitely understand the frustration of the Dry Spells

In fact I recently wondered if my program was reading deep Silver Targets because it has been a long time (about 3 WEEKS)

However, you kept trying and going and going ....

FANTASTIC FINDS

GREAT SUCCESS

Great Hunt,No silver for me yet this year,I think I am going to wait a little bit till it warms up before I go out again.Ground is perfect no frost not to wet. What a great winter. There is no colder place than wide open farm field.
