Hi all, I went back to the same church this morning that I hunted last week and found this 1866 two cent piece in pretty good shape. first one I ever found. After that the very next signal I got(clad dime) I went to dig well, my glove on my digging hand has a hole in in on the tip of my pointer finger and when I went to push down into the ground my finger slid down my recently sharpened lesche and OUCH! blood everywhere. Lucky I had some band aids in the truck because there was no way I was leaving. Of course all I found the rest of the day was clad.LOL.

Very well kept!!

That is as good as it gets!!! What were the numbers on that beauty?
Congrats and thanks for posting.

bunker314, The numbers were from 14-38 to about 16-38 then the last sweep of the coil it jumped to 12-42. When I got it out of the ground and used the x-1 probe on it the numbers were steady 12-42. and then jumped back to 16-38 a couple times?? Randy, I always wear gloves but the end of my finger was wore out. Next time I will not hesitate buying a new pair like I did this time.

Thanks pointer, my numbers here in NC (vacation) have been jumping around a bit as well.
