First Recovery

I received permission to detect a very large area where a yearly festival has been held for over 40 years. The owner informed me he lost a very precious hand-made emblem off of his horse saddle that he thought was made of silver. He showed me the area where he lost it. I was very fortunate to find this item while using my Minelab Equnox 800 very close to where he thought he had lost it. It's the first time I have ever successfully recovered a known lost item for an individual with a metal detector. This was such a heartwarming find. I have returned other items I happened to find over the years, such as Class Rings.

Congrats on the find. It's good to return lost items to the owner. I've returned 3 ringers over the years..
