First silver coin with my etrac

I cant believe it I have found my first silver coin and get this it is a key date 1942 d liberty. I found it on a walk way next to a school. what are the chances of that. I want to thank the people from this forum for all the help. But I want to especially thank CTTODD Jason S ETRAC_ohio they have helped a great deal. Im sorry I dont have the picture to show but I was so excited.

1942-D liberty? I am confused, you found a quarter or a half dollar? In 1942 only liberty I know is the half dollar walking liberty, but that is not a key date, the 1942 quarter is a Washington......I am confused, what exactly did you find?
