First silver with new etrac

I had a chance to take my new etrac to a yard that I've worked over many times with my DFX, and I was sure there wasn't anything left to find. I pulled a 1947 wheatie at 7 inches, and a 1935 mercury dime at 8 inches. I only had about 45 minutes to detect before the sun went down, so I will be going back later this week to look for more. I love this etrac!

That's exciting! All your old places are new again.

Those mercury dimes are a beautiful coin, nice going and hope you find many more. HH - Randy

I told you you would love the E-Trac, and it won't do anything but get better. Glad your in a area you can get out and hunt, we are snowed and froze in here in Central Illinois.
Have fun and keep the pictures and stories of your finds coming. Helps us with the Mid winter doldrums Thanks Rick"IL"

Yep go back to all the old places and now with the E-Trac they will all seem like new sites!

I got to take the new etrac back out for a couple of hours after work today. Went to another yard that I hunted out with the DFX, and found a couple more silver, a really nice 1941 mercury about 7 inches down, and a 1959 rosie about 5.5 inches. The merc had a really good 13-45 signal, and the rosie a strong 12-45, there wasn't any doubt what they were. The etrac rocks!

Sorry, if the pics come out to big

Congrats again and again and again for all the other silvers youll find
I also gradauated from the DFX to E Trac
My first find on E Trac was a rosey and the story goes on
Those of us that started on other detectors get a real thrill using the numbers, graph and tones
and "knowing" the results
I recently found my first nickel with the E trac and KNEW it was a nickel
Loved it
Happy hunting and special regards from one who is suffering bad weather and frozen grounds
