First year of hunting vacant city lots, vacant houses, houses being torn down

I have just started hunting city lots where old houses use to stand, vacant houses boarded up, and old farm houses. The hardest part is finding owners and getting the o.k. to hunt them. Most are o.k with the idea once you find them. This collection is from only 5 sites I got approval to hunt. My thoughts on asking and getting rejected is if they say no I will never see them again and then I move on.

Looks like some nice loot there!!! I ask the owner of two houses over 100 years old if I could come by and Hunt and he gave me the ok.Just have to find the time now to go.HH

I wish you good luck my friend

Good job ! :beers:

Great group of finds! I am so glad to hear that you take the time to find the owners for the properties. So many folks don't do that and it hurts the hobby for the ones who do the right thing. It's easy to think that it's not hurting anyone to hunt a vacant lot or abandoned house, but it's still private property. And great attitude on getting told "No" the only way to find out is to ask and most of the time you will find you get permission just because you took the time to ask. Keep up the great work and good luck to ya!
