Took the deus back to the cornfield. You can barely make out the 7 and the eagle. 1857 flying eagle cent.
 
Congratulations Andrew, I bet that one wasn't found too far from where I found mine.........:biggrin: if I'm thinking of the right corn field.
 
I can see the Eagle! :clapping: Even though it's crusty green, it's still a very awesome coin since knowing what it is. BIG congratulations! HH, Nancy

Nice corn find, beans still not picked at in the other field. Now you need a three center to fill in between the cent and dime. Good Luck
 
Just scrub it with that solution you used on that large cent. Works like a charm.:devil: Nice find.
 
No solution, put a wire brush on the drill and have at it, will take all that green stuff off in a heartbeat. :rofl:

For newbies, just kidding. don't use wire brushes to remove the green patina............ it removes all detail of the coin.
 
I already did the wire brush on the dremel before I took the pictures. That is as good as its going to get.
