I found a 14K Gold Band in a Garden. A lady in town here had lost it last fall but I couldn't find it then since the Gargen had been overturned. Well, as luck would have it, I decided to give it another shot last night and when I arrived I talked to the owner and he informed me that he had just plowed it up the night before. Started hunting and digging Pull Tabs and other Misc. Junk and got about half way across the Garden and got a 1 on Digital which must be Foil on other Detectors. Dug some dirt and there she was in a dirt clump. Now, this is the 2nd time I have found this Ring for this lady and hopefully she will get it sized or just put it in her Jewelery Box for safe keeping this time. She offered Money, but I turned that down. She offered a Brownie, but I turned that down. She then told me that she will have to bake for me sometime for finding the Ring again which she thought was Long Gone for good. So I told her fine and then told her that I would like to keep it until next months meeting for possibly a Jewelery Entry. She agreed. I wish you all could have been there to see her face when I showed her the Ring on my Pinky. She couldn't believe that I found it a 2nd time. She really didn't know if she had lost it in the Garden or in the Yard itself. I am glad it was in the Garden since the Yard is a Farmstead with a ton of Junk in the ground. I'm just happy to have returned it once again. Thanks for looking and Good Luck and HH to you all. you will be rewarded next time out in the field with some silver. Well I guess that's no reward...because you finds tons all the time.:crazy:
 
Even though some sites I go to are very hard to get Silver from, I do have some pretty insane Luck at some other sites. Who Knows! Maybe one of these times I will pop out a nice Gold Coin but I doubt it around this area. But you never know! Good Luck and HH on your next outing.:detecting:

And if next time she offers any kind of Cash Reward, I may have to take that or of course that Brownie she offered last time. I just hope the Brownie isn't the one she offered the last time she lost it. :lmfao: I wouldn't want to get :sick: and miss out on :detecting:. Good Luck and HH!:thumbup:
 
I have found a couple of wedding bands for people that also lost in the garden.I think gold is the hardest to find and it should be what we look for on a day to day basis but it is hard to not want to find silver too.If they never invented those d%^^m pull tabs we might be rich,HA HA.Great job and good luck on your next hunt.

This Ring was reading like Foil. I got a 1 on Digital, which I thought the Ring would be at least a 4. I have tested a lot of my Sister's Rings with my Probe to get an idea on what they read and most read 4. I also would love to stop and dig every target but there just isn't enought time in a day to even try that, let alone go for as much Silver as a person can find. I wonder just how many Gold Rings I have walked over and left behind due to ID's I don't dig normally? She already told me "Your Such A Sweetheart", so I figured having a Brownie would be too many Sweets for one day! :nono::rofl: Honestly though, I just felt good about finding that Ring and that's all the reward I needed.
