Hi....do a web search for "all about indians Goes4ever", he's a member here and explains
it better than I can.

I don't find that many but most are around the 08-36 range.

Indians can come in all over the map depending on depth, corrosion, soil, etc.

Generally most of my shallow to moderately deep Indians rung in at around 12-mid 30s to a slightly lower conductive parameter than a zincoln.
If you get a zincoln ID with a slightly lower conductive no. and its deep, good chance its an Indian.
IMO, for the deeper ones just pay attention to the depth indicator and the tone and take the ID with a grain of salt.

A very nice bunch of finds - congrats !

Most of the Indian Cents I've found ( approx. 200 ) come in as FE (12) - CO (34)'s - some a little higher - some a little lower.

Great finds! That's good day! :clapping: I don't go out to hunt old coins until very soon because of grass is so dry! I don't want to dig dry and hard grass in public park!
