Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the X1 indicate in the same tones as the detector? I thought I saw some youtube videos to this effect...it was like the guy could differentiate between the nail and coil at the bottom of the hole!
 
The x1 does give the same tone as the coil. You flip the switch and thr probe becomes the coil. It is awesome for sniffing out a good target in a hole with lots of junk in it. I love my x1 and you will too.
 
I actually had more than just a title to this thread. Been having issues with copy/paste lately. May have been I included the vendor who had the X1, and made a very decent deal along with a SEF 8x6 coil. Are we not to include vendor names in post? I actually tried to look for this rule before posting couldn't find anything.
 
I'm looking for an x1 myself, anyone have a working one for sale ??
