Found Nice 1911 Silver Coin Ring

Buried Crap NJ

New member
Found a beach that had some man made sand movement. This beach has lots of history on the Jersey Shore Dug about 40 coins 6 silver including a standing liberty and 1904 Barber dime.
We needed to push piles of sand around with our feet to get deeper. Lots of hard work but the crazy 1911 3 pence silver ring was the reward.
Buddy of mine had about the same amount of silver but had lot more coins 60 using a smaller coil. Way too much trash for 11in coil but I was able to discriminate most using the CTX 3030
Big screws are SS and I was eyeing them and picking them up none made any tone other than the iron grunt..

I heard Matt was there with his shovel, rake, hoe, pitchfork, axe and lantern ! HA !

Wish I could have went today. I hate when work gets in the way.

Dying to know when they are going to spread them things out. Seems like you guys did a good job hacking away at them though.

John, I am thinking they are going to fill it back into where it came from when construction is complete. This eliminates fire danger when there's sand right to the top of the trex (boards) If Matty keeps going (retired guys!) he'll have those 6 mountains spread in a month! If I don't see you next Thursday on the mountains I'll see you at Ronnies...
