Found ugliest Barber quarter on Thanksgiving

Hit the same location as my last hunt and found the 1902 Barber quarter in an old alley. It was crusty so I thought it was a large cent at first. It's coated with either old asphalt or some serious mineral build-up. Also found; Wheats of 1912, 1944, 1947, 1952, and 1955; 12Ga Winchester New Rival shell; Peters 44-40 misfired cartridge that split and lost its powder; a large aluminum ENCO gas station token that was obviously used for a BB gun target; Curtis house key; old style glass button.

Yep, thats a solid hunt with a lot of old items in the mix...good work!:clapping:

Certainly very nice keepers! Wish ugly coins could talk.
Congrats!

This is a case of beauty is in the eye of the beholder... it looks pretty to me. Nice finds Floyd.

Congrats on the great finds - there's no such thing as a ugly Barber !
Found a few silver coins in the same condition - a few minutes in a Electrolysis bath and the asphalt or minerals will just fall off the coin.

Yes E TRAC OHIO, I think it's time I invested in electrolysis. I have a few other relics that could use a bath, too.
