Future Proposed Update / Feature "Wish List" Collection . . . . .

Recommendation is to improve version 4.1

User using medium and lower ground sensitivty settings, while using manual ground balance cannot many times monitor ground phase by looking at remote i formation while sweeping.

This is it seems more common on medium and milder mineralized soils.
My recommendation is to offer users a way to override the ' connection' between ground sensitivty setting and how Deus provides tracking info.
Meaning if feasible allow lower than max levels of groud sensitivty be run, yet allow Deus to track GB wise like groud sensitivty is indeed dialed to a level 10 setting.
At the very least allow groud phase be monitored at all times when manual ground balance is selected.

I'm a mac user and I have to borrow a pc to update the software on the Deus. Please make XP mac friendly.

I support the Mac software version.

My big desire is simple: I’d like to be able to overwrite the factory programs.

I realize I can just save and work with my own custom, but then I have 10 programs/slots that are useless to me.
Often it’s just a few tweaks to the factory programs that make them better for me, so I’d like to keep the changes in the original slots.

Offering a restore feature would allow anyone to return to the factory defaults, but not reason not to allow changes.

How about the ability to create programs on the laptop, place them, then save to the control?

Just my thoughts...

How about target ID "averaging"? The ID numbers one would get on the swings over a target would be analyzed and one locked on "average" ID number would come up on the screen to give probable target info.
Thanks!

the ability to control notch/discriminator volume like the iron volume function. for the same reason as the iron volume, I want to know its there just turn it down some so it won't drive me crazy

I would like to be able to work on programs and settings on the computer for the Deus and be able to transfer to the Deus as well as transfer any changes made on the Deus while out in the field to the computer to be saved in a file, this would be a major improvement.

I would like to add one more thing I don't like the buttons on the remote I would like to see a touch screen like the cell phones we all use now adays

Selectable ID function - 4khz offers best spread on high conductors. Current ID norm of 18khz is just to shit to use. Everything very bunched. I contacted xp and Gary about this but true to company form - wat do u ever heat back.

I agree an inches/cm number depth indicator would rock! Way better than a graphics - so outdated and redundant. Option of tx power for 4khz band sounds good - boost on or off is a bit limited. More options for the gold nugget hunters is always a winner - anything that improves target repose in shit ground is great!

More raw power for depth is needed by the deus. It does the best job of seperation on the market, but once you've cleaned an area out like that theres only one option left and that's to chase deeper targets. Dropping frq and recovery to 2 is ok but beyond that tone lengths are just absolutely horrible - why not develop a tone length adjust which can be applied from expert - imagine the joy of running recovery 2 but with the tone lengths of 3. If it's possible.

A tone volume control. So you just turn down the volume instead of notching/discrimin and it's depth loss. Applicable across each tone bracket - so if using 5 tone then you can turn down tones 1 2 leave/increase 3 4 and turn down 5 etc. Or whatever combination you want.

It really should be all about what u want - other companies are doing this and sales r skyrocketing. If a company keeps ignoring their own customers then they wil loose alot of sales and everntually wake up and finally do the very thing they never gave a shit about at the start - listen to what their customers need.

Wil xp ever see these posts and if they do - actually care. I chose to respond hoping they will. But not holding my breath. GL HH

Agree. Better beach performance. Agree. Waterproof remote housing. Numbers actually showing up on targets past 6 inches. Agree use of a few frequencies simultaneously.

i would like to be able to use all frequencies at the same time and maybe add a couple more but still have the option to use only one on its own

My top item on a wish list for the XP Deus a simple pair of wireless headphones dedicated to the Deus.

Easy one here. Mac OS compatible updates.

- Waterproof (or even just weatherproof) remote with built in lanyard clip for tethering to the shaft (ever had that shock moment when you realise the remote is no longer on the mount).

- Backlit WS4 controller screen and buttons.

- Optional red backlighting on both control units to help retain night vision.

- magnetic charge clip that can be retro-fitted to current coil to replace original spring clip design.

- protective rubber boot/flap to help prevent damage to HF coil battery cable at bottom rear of lower shaft.

- offer full range of user selectable frequencies vs specific frequencies with offsets.

- offer option of black or white coils for full range vs only the HF coils (easier see coil in the dark and offers greater stability in hot temp climates)

- option to run the ORX screen layout on the Deus, iron probability etc.

- colour coded Deus, have other custom colours available aside from just black for the shaft, control boxes and headphones.

- the ability to use adjustable discrimination with the wireless pinpointers.

- a smaller solid elliptical or round coil to compliment the current range (would sell like hotcakes).

- higher capacity lithium batteries

Just stick an earphone plug in the jack attached by a short cord to a small speaker. Attach it to the rod or where ever convenient or just let it dangle.

Full pitch option on the ORX.

More comfortable back phones for the ORX and Deus with some ear padding.

Otherwise, ditto, especially for Mac software update compatibility.
