I have a 20+ ft Mullberry tree behind my garage and it is full of berrys. I wanted some and figured I didn't feel like playing squirrel so I hauled a tarp out there and spread it under the likelyest looking spot and staked it out.
I took a rubber mallet and clobbered the tree about 10 wacks. Now I have one heck of a bunch of Mullberrys and have not a clue what to do with them. I am soaking them in the sink with a little salt in the water, to drive out the critters but how long do I soak them and what do I do next? Mary said she might make a pie or jelly or I will just eat them but eating that many just has gotta do terrible things to a guys gut. Not to mention he had better not fart.
Any ideas? Mary thought I should soak them for a couple hours and then let them dry on a towel. Byby towel!!
