The other evening I hunted for about an hour before it started getting dark. I got a 12-27 signal that was about 5 inches deep. It turned out to be what I believe is a gold ring with fancy initials engraved on it. Here's what it looked like right after I dug it.

Today after work I went back to the same site and dug what I later discovered to be a gold plated copper locket. I opened it with a knife when I got home and discovered the remains of a photo inside.

I feel like the man with the Midas touch!:)

Then I got a high toned signal that turned out to be a 1911D Barber dime.

About a foot away from where I dug that Barber I got a nickel signal that turned out to be a 1935 Buffalo nickel.

The weather was absolutely perfect and I had a great time. Here are some pics of my finds from the hunts.

Great Hunt, Nice Finds!! Awesome Old Gold:super:!!!

I'm pretty sure that pendent/button has a design on it. This is what I would do:

Get some Navel Jelly and apply it with an old toothbrush, let it sit for a couple of minutes, then brush clean. After the crud is removed you can use a wash of water and baking soda to neutralize any remaining acid.

I think it would make a video tutorial for this cleaning method.

HH!!

I posted this on your vid also
