Gold on the last hunt of the year

Last hunt of 2012 and it was a cold windy day. Started off slow found the bottles where sandy had washed out the land up to a lake bank. Started finding wheat's and then the 1941 and 1926 mercs. Then came my first gold ring. it rang up as a nickle almost didn't did till I saw a piece of it in the sand. I will be going back but probably for more bottles I barely scratched the surface with them. Happy new year everyone.

Rusty, very nice hunt and lots of variety to end the year. I think we had fun just building the darn bridge with planks to get to the island. Congrats on the ring and looks like those bottles cleaned up really well,too. I got stuff soaking and some pieces need electrolysis. Hopefully next weekend will bring warmer temperatures.

LOL that bridge was fun. Im going to try to go back tomorrow or tuesday and dig for more bottles and get the ones I left it they are still there.

Good hunt there RustyDigger. It's hard to beat Silver & Gold and those old bottles are really neat!
