We took advantage of some beautiful weather year in MN and got out for a couple hours. My wife like she usually does found all the IH 1873,1902 and a 1899 the 1902 was under a pine tree they aren't to friendly with coins the 1899 she found six inches off of one of my old plugs, oops. But she was in conductive and I was in TTF that can make a big difference at times. I managed a war nickle the nicest one I have ever found and a 1917 merc well hidden under a huge oak. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds,Many congrats to both of you!

Nice coins! The silver nickel wasn't circulating long before it was lost. I am still waiting to find one of those.

I wish my wife was interested in detecting, but at least she tolerates my absences for hunting!

Tenspeed,

Want to get your wife interested in metal detecting just tell her if she will participate she gets the pick of the gold you find.

But then you could have a wife like mine. I found a really nice small gold band with a center diamond, took it home handed it to my wife and said look at what I found. She tried it on her pinkie finger,it fit and she turned to me and said yea and look at what I just found and it's been on that finger ever since.

No complaint's she been one of the best hunting partners I could have ever had. 46 years worth.

How about this weather, eh? Keep those awesome finds coming! Love those old Indians. You sure do get some age there.

Wow - what a great day !:clapping:
