Learned today that the 1270 is being discontinued. If you're in the market, shop around. Should start finding some good deals. I guess this is the end of the 1200 series.

I don't see that happening. First Texas took over a company (Fisher) that couldn't sustain itself, and brought it back to life. Without First Texas, all of the CZ's, 1280's and Gold Bug II's would be long gone.
