Got out for a bit yesterday.1 Barber Quarter,2 Mercs,2 Indians,1 V nickel and a near heat stroke:hot:

About 3 hours yesterday afternoon at a small town hammered park. Put on the 8x6 and headed for the trashy part and was very pleased with the results.Cooled off to low to mid 90s so I had to go,Ray.
PS Notice rust stains on Barber.I am sure I have been over it several times but with the smaller 8x6 and dryer soil I was able to get that very short silver chirp. It was about 7" and in a low spot that is almost always very muddy and that may explain why it was masked to well previously:thumbup:

Good Job Mr. Ray..

Congratulations on the finds Ray! Glad you were able to get out. Thanks for the pictures!

Nice assortment. Congratulations on the finds.

Is that the edge of the second Merc in the lump of ??? between the Barber and Merc in the top pictures? Is that some special Missouri gumbo/cement soil that encases the treasures in your area?:yikes: Looks like some pretty nasty stuff.

Thanks for posting.

Nice coins Ray - also a great testimonial for the 6 x 8 coil !

Nice Ray... Keep them coming my friend..Hey you use the predator raptor dont you?

Yes it is the best turf digger I have ever used by far.Fast clean and does not look like a knife/weapon .If you all are taking your knife style diggers on public school property you are asking to get arrested and charged with a felony weapons charge. Not a pretty picture and can cause you to loose your firearms possession rights.
Just a word of caution that could save a lot of grief .

Thanks Ray,
I ordered one... It is to be arriving any day... Good point about the knife style digger. I do have to say, it would take a real A#$# of an officer to convict someone with a lesche digger. I think most would use their good judgement. But you never know. There is always one in every crowed lol Good luck hunting!

It was not just the temperature that was sizzling! It was that detector...wow great finds!

Well done. Always enjoy your posts. I've got a 6x8 on order. Hot here in Mississippi too. About to get back out in it.
