Got out to the old grown up CW sits where I found the Half dime and used my new 12x10 and the first and only coin was the 1853 dime.Got a few relics as well and the new coil worked perfect in this trashy site where several buildings were burned in 1862.Not sure what the big brass item is and also got the CW era ring,Ray.

Nice post and great finds Ray,The race is on now because a lot of the good sites are
Going to green up before long.
Wouldn't be surprised if theres not some cache's around there.

That's a nice half dime! I have only found one of those and it was with another machine. I'm curious what number did it read on the conductive side?

Looks good, definately some history in that place. How does the 12 x 10 compare to the pro coil Ray?

I like it so far but to soon to say much either way.It is a little heavier but after running the 12x15 a lot recently it seemed light.:stretcher:I can tell it is a very quiet and stable coil as I was running all metal ferrous 2 tones at 28-30 sensitivity as smooth as silk:thumbup:

Sweeeeet!! Love the old seated with arrows. Congrats Ray. Looking forward to more feedback on the 10 x 12 too. Ready to jump on one soon.

Keep em coming my friend!!!

Awesome hunting, Ray! That silver Half Dime looks like it's in great condition with just some silver oxide on it. The Civil War ring is cool too. Very nice finds. Glad to hear you're liking your 10x12 coil. I also ordered one and it should arrive any day.

Ray your finds are awesome ...... do you feel like you may be in a metal detectorist's Disneyland ????
I'm betting Harold is right about a cache or two buried around there ...... I'm sure the folks didn't have time to dig up or recover all their stashes....
Good luck .....
