I believe he is getting a brand new unit. I am as well and havent heard anything yet.
 
Just got an email,My upgrade has just been picked up in El Paso by Fedex. Expected delivery in the UK on thursday, YAHOOOO.!

Still nothing for me... mine for there on the 3rd (Monday at 10am) maybe tomorrow or they just haven't emailed me
 
I didn't get an email. Mine was in first texas's hands two days after they announced the upgrade procedure. FedEx tracking says it will arrive by Monday. FedEx is slow.

Buying the new model was announced in Sept for a "october" release. October has come and gone with only an upgrade announcement option before filling any new unit pre-orders. The OP is getting a brand new one and heard it's coming. Wondering if anyone else has. Maybe he was just pulling our leg. Fisher responded to me on Facebook last week and said new units would ship this week.

So were you joking? Did you order direct from Fisher? No word from distributors/dealers getting any yet.

Here is Fisher's stance since mid October:

"next week"

except now they have told me "next week at the latest"

Don't they have their boards made in Mexico or something? I'm guessing they've been waiting on them for a while and that's the delays. Even the mini delay in upgrades. They must have finally got them and are upgrading and building units this week. Speculation of course. Pretty sure their units are like US autos, assembled in America.
 
Not at all its tracking in North Carolina now. Scheduled delivery tomorrow. If it gets here by mid day I 'll get some video done. Weather is sketchy. 60.39.fast
 
Hope yours arrive soon. I guess I'am "Special" LOL
