A friend of mine, Dave Evers, and I met up at an old park well it didn’t take long I had a buffalo nickel and a 1917 mercury dime! Dave continue down the path under an old apple tree. He had a real, faint high tone. He asked me to check it I said dig that! well he yells back. I got silver turns out it was a seated dime but a Carson City!
Which are very hard to find around here so we continued up the trail. I separated and went to the left, and I had a very faint high signal about 3 inches down. I had a half Reale very worn no date.
I had to leave early. On my way out. I found an old large cent.
I had Monday off so I met up with a coworker and we went back to the same park but we found very little so I told him of another park. I did really well in. We were there for a little while when I had a very faint high tone that turned out to be a worn one Reale ! And I also found it a worn large cent.
So later, in the afternoon, I went out on the river
Coins are very corroded but ended up wit 2 barber quarters 3 barber dimes 3 mercury dimes and 3 silver Rosie’s.
One Rosie was from a huge town green where i found one badly worn KG.
And the broken ID bracelet also came from the green.
And another piece to a sterling bracelet that I recovered this past summer!
A few clad quarters some wheat Pennie’s and a lot of lead as always.
happy hunting
