This really shows how target trace works. Thanks for the video Gone Hunting!

Yes I have been switching between my Multitone and my Combined.. I am trying to find a quieter setting trashy sites.. I have come across a yard that is littered with tiny bits of copper house wiring.. most are small, less than half an inch.. I think the CTX is more sensitive to smaller bits than the E-Trac... But in heavy trash(iron)vs good conductive, deeper targets I think the Combined is better.. I honestly think you will like the opened combined alot better than decrim with multi... at least I am so far..I have gotten so used to hearing the iron that when it nulls in multi I feel like I may be missing targets.. I need to test a strip..with the multitone first, marking good targets then go back with combined and see if I missed anything.....earthmansurfer said:Evan - I meant to ask you something. In the beginning you were having some problems with the performance or your results with the CTX and then you switched to an open combine mode with ferrous coin after talking with Digger.
Have you tried switching between modes (using the shortcut user button) to see if combine is actually that much better? (Was it more the ferrous coin setting perhaps?) - Not sure what you were running before. I'm early into the investigation and don't have anything to report yet regarding e.g. 50 Co with minimal disc vs. an open Combine.
Thanks

I am posting a vid tonight that shows my belt.. I got tired of the cheap W@l M@rt tackle bags breaking and not lasting.. this new set up seems a heck of a lot tougher...pspr said:That's an incredible video. Especially that nickle, penny and dime in the same hole. I'd like to know more about GoneHunting's belt setup too. I'm still trying to get mine to work easy for me.
Are you meaning bigger iron sounded like good conductive.. yes a couple of times, I have a setting that I am trying to get rid of or to identify the larger/deeper iron false..as soon as I prove this mode I will post it..spdnj said:That is a great video. Were you finding any just iron targets that were acting the same throughout the day?
GL&HH
That is the key point right there.. when switching back and forth.. you can hear the difference in the null and the iron.. very noticeable time difference!!!earthmansurfer said:as the nulls are usually longer than the iron grunts.
here is my set up...pspr said:That's an incredible video. Especially that nickle, penny and dime in the same hole. I'd like to know more about GoneHunting's belt setup too. I'm still trying to get mine to work easy for me.
Thanks, Gonehunting. I think I'll go that route, too. And thanks for explaining the Molle system. I was looking at them on ebay and it was a little confusing exactly what you got and what would work with it.Gonehunting said:here is my set up...pspr said:That's an incredible video.
